How to take care of your Luxury Handtied-extensions this winter
It’s officially Winter and taking care of your luxury handtied extensions is so important to keeping them healthy and beautiful. Winter is dry and cold so giving your extensions some extra love with a good oil (we love Uoil by Unite) and a good masque is key.
The hair we use is Isla handtied hair and it is 100% remi. It has less silicone then other hairlines and has more hair per weft. Our hair is durable and can last up to 9 months if not longer with good care.
Here are my top 4 tips on protecting your new luxury Handtied-extensions-
1- Shampoo less and when you do condition everything
2- Blowdry your extensions in the winter. Air drying could cause more damage from the cold dry air and might make them feel brittle
3- Olaplex #3 should be in your back bar for weekly use. Olaplex will save your investment and help your natural hair out as well
4- Oil it. We love Uoil by Unite or Shimmer Shine by Kevin Murphy
Winter can be hard on your gorgeous extensions so take care of them with good products and a little tlc.
